Armstrong and
Kolter defines “product as
anything that can be offered to a market for attention, acquisition, use, or
consumption that might satisfy a want or need.” ( Marketing: An Introduction)The
definition sounds simple, but according to the text it isn’t.
The product I’m
launching is Phileas Fogg’s Bangkok Bites.
They are chicken jerky treats for
the mature adult because they go great with your favorite beer or spirit. The
authors also writes “rather than lowering prices, many food makers
are instead pointing out the value of their products as compared to eating out.
“ (Marketing: An Introduction p.27) My meat snacks will be a want as
much as a need. Those who try them will crave these high protein treats every
time they watch their favorite team. The
value that Phileas Fogg’s offer is like no other. These snacks are made with real chicken, high
in protein, and it comes in three
flavors: Thai-chicken, curry, and Thai-peanut flavored.
